Candle Arena needs the height to show a chart and your trade at the same time. Landscape on a phone is not supported yet.
Each candle covers 30 minutes. Price climbed to 25.00, then sellers pushed it back down. A price where rises stopped before is called resistance.
Price fell to 23.00, then buyers pushed it back up. A price where falls stopped before is called support. Support sits below price; resistance sits above.
Resistance 25.00 · Support 23.00
Rises stopped at 25.00, 24.97 and 25.02. Not identical, but the same place. Read a level as a narrow band, not a line drawn to the cent.
Highs 25.00 · 24.97 · 25.02
Price turned near 25.00 three times and near 23.00 twice. The more turns a level has, the more traders watch it. A tendency, not a law.
Tops 25.00 24.97 25.02 · Bottoms 23.00 23.03
Levels do break. The wick to 25.02 closed at 24.70, back under the zone, so no break. Later a candle closed at 25.40, well clear.
Wick 25.02, close 24.70 · Close 25.40
After the break, price rose to 25.80 and came back to test it. It stopped at 25.00, the old ceiling, and turned up. Old resistance acted as support.
Here the retest held and price climbed to 26.10. Retests can fail, and price drops back through. Levels work the same on 1-minute, daily or monthly charts.
This candle reached 25.02 but closed at 24.70. Resistance is at 25.00. Has price broken out above it?
