Candle Arena needs the height to show a chart and your trade at the same time. Landscape on a phone is not supported yet.
A candle can stand for 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day or 1 month. On this chart, every candle is 5 minutes. Time runs left to right.
It records four prices from those 5 minutes: the first, the last, the highest and the lowest. Higher on the chart means a higher price.
The open is the first price traded in those 5 minutes.
Open 20.00
The close is the last price traded before 10:05.
Open 20.00 · Close 20.60
The body runs from the open to the close: here, from 20.00 up to 20.60.
Body 20.00 to 20.60
20.60 is above 20.00, so this candle is green. The colour compares a candle's own open and close. Most charts use green for up, red for down.
Close 20.60 > Open 20.00 → green
The top of the upper wick is the high, 20.80. The bottom of the lower wick is the low, 19.90.
High 20.80 · Low 19.90
This one opened at 20.60 and closed at 20.20. Price fell, so the body is red and the close sits at the bottom.
Open 20.60 · Close 20.20 → red
